The mission of our ASCENDKemet Collective Certified Farmers’ Market is to represent the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People Of Color) community of San Diego through its local vendors, farmers, and artisans. The ASCENDKemet Collective aims to support and uplift the highly melanated diasporic community, as well as its commitment to holistic living, bartering, and selling fresh, nutritious produce. The ASCENDKemet Collective is dedicated to uplifting the highly melanated diasporic community while championing holistic living, bartering, and the sale of fresh, nutritious produce. Our open-air market, created by the BIPOC community, is a unique hub that offers locally grown and harvested fresh produce. It also provides an opportunity for those committed to giving back to actively participate in fostering a vibrant local space.

Our vendors embody holistic principles, remaining mindful of the products they create and support. Many identify as highly melanated and recognize the value of cultivating a culture of exchange and barter. Together, we aim to build strong, healthy, and thriving communities.
