Starting in August 2022, ASCENDtials will be launching a Writer’s Group for the BIPOC community. With the main objective of generating influential writers, the literature produced by this group will be published on various platforms to create change surrounding social justice issues. Our sessions will cover topics ranging from political representation to human rights in America, with writing prompts that focus on problematic structures that require our attention. Each of our four writer’s groups (teenagers, college students and adults) will meet once a week on a digital platform to discuss, collaborate, and create.
