Yes, we accept EBT/SNAP and WIC at both market locations.
Is the market open rain or shine?
Yes! Our markets operate rain or shine. We believe that access to fresh, nutritious food is essential, no matter the weather.

Do vendors accept credit or debit cards?
Most vendors are equipped to take card payments, but it's always a good idea to bring some cash or small bills just in case. Some may also offer contactless payment options.
Is there parking at the market locations?
Yes, both locations have nearby public parking and street parking options. We also encourage carpooling, biking, or using public transportation to help lower our collective carbon footprint.
Can I bring my dog or pet to the market?
We kindly ask that pets stay home unless they are certified service animals. This ensures a safe and sanitary experience for all marketgoers and vendors.

What is the ASCENDtials food distribution?
ASCENDtials is committed to supporting our community with fresh, nutritious food. On the second Friday of each month, residents can receive fresh fruits, vegatables, and dry goods--completely free of cost. Our distribution takes place during a two-hour window from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, ensuring access to healty essentials for those in need.
Who is eligible to receive food?
The distribution is open to all! We believe that everyone deserves access to fresh, nutritious food. On the second Friday of each month, we welcome all residents to receive fresh fruits, vegetables, and dry goods--completely free of cost. No restrictions, no requirements--just good food for everyone in our community. Distribution takes place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, ensuring convenient access to healthy essentials for all.
Can I apply for food assistance at the distribution?
Yes, we will have community resources on-site where you can apply for these services.
Where can I find food distribution locations?
We are located in the Officer Jeremy Henwood Memorial Park across from our weekly Farmers' Market.
What types of food are available?
We always have a variety of fresh produce, dry goods, and some specialty items.
How does food distribution work?
Patrons will line up in the designated location in the park. Be prepared to register and receive bagged items and either drive off or walk off. The items distributed will be handled by our volunteers from community, staff, or partner organizations.
Can I volunteer or donate?
Individuals or businesses can volunteer by signing up or using our application below. We will reach out as soon as possible.
Is there a cost for receiving food?
Food is completely free!
How is the food sourced?
The food is from donations, government programs, sponsors, or through our partnerships with local farms.
What should I bring when picking up food?
We encourage you to bring a carrying bag to transport your goods.
