Is the ASCENDKemet Collective Farmers' Market for you?
At ASCENDtials Farmers’ Markets, we honor the truth that stewardship exists to protect and preserve our own lives and the life of our planet.
Everything in creation is built on reciprocity — a natural balance reminding us that when we care for the Earth, the Earth cares for us.
Our markets celebrate culture that reconnects us to truth, wellness, and the principles that sustain us.
The foods you’ll find here are designed to nourish the body and elevate the kind of thinking that protects and preserves our communities and the environment we depend on. From nutrient‑rich greens and healing herbs to breads, fruits, and culturally rooted dishes that honor ancestral wisdom, every offering reinforces our connection to the land and to one another.
Join us as we uplift local growers, honor cultural traditions, and strengthen the bonds that keep our communities and our planet thriving. Together, we’re cultivating wellness, reciprocity, and a brighter future through every market day.

SNAP/EBT
- SNAP/EBT are most definitely accepted our farmers’ markets!
- PSA: due to the ongoing Federal government shutdown, CalFresh (aka SNAP) benefits for the month of November will be delayed from being deposited onto your EBT card. For more information, check back for updates. For information on food resources, please visit the 211 San Diego website.

The ASCENDKemet Collective Certified Farmers’ Market exists to celebrate and represent the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community of San Diego through its local vendors, farmers, and artisans. Rooted in cultural pride and ecological stewardship, our market uplifts the highly melanated diasporic community while championing holistic living, bartering, and access to fresh, nutritious produce.
Created by and for the BIPOC community, our open‑air market is more than a place to shop — it is a vibrant hub where locally grown and harvested foods meet artistry, wellness, and reciprocity. Each gathering offers an opportunity for those committed to giving back to actively participate in building a thriving, inclusive space that nourishes both body and spirit.
