The ASCENDKemet Collective Certified Farmers' Market exists to celebrate and represent the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community of San Diego through its local vendors, farmers, and artisans. Rooted in cultural pride and ecological stewardship, our market uplifts the highly melanated diasporic community while championing holistic living, bartering, and access to fresh, nutritious produce.
Created by and for the BIPOC community, our open-air market is more than a place to shop — it is a vibrant hub where locally grown and harvested foods meet artistry, wellness, and reciprocity. Each gathering offers an opportunity for those committed to giving back to actively participate in building a thriving, inclusive space that nourishes both body and spirit.
