ASCENDtials’ Giving Tuesday Campaign is centered on “how to think in oneness,” which explores our aim to get participants more involved in understanding themselves and their role in the environment. We achieve this through experiential learning sessions, workshops, and healing sessions, which provide insight and higher-level problem-solving tools for protecting and preserving the environment, nature, and humanity.
The idea is to raise awareness of our connection with nature and follow its symbols through the sacred geometry, nature’s cycles, and elements to help us in our journey towards knowing ourselves, our growth, health, and prosperity. While our connection with nature is unbreakable, it is getting thinner with some of our (un)conscious choices. We offer ways to strengthen this connection and train ourselves to create oneness with nature and each other.

KOSMelaninology™ Book Club
With the topic of mental health always in the news and its stigma across nations, we all must better understand what our education has taught us or not about our mental health. As highly melanated beings, we are affected severely by not knowing ourselves and not managing our overall health. “Knowing thyself” and understanding the role of Melanin in our lives is certainly part of that. To reject the knowledge and application of ideals our ancient ancestors left for us is in itself anti-blackness and widely alarming. Although we are all unique, our collective behavior has caused a significant detriment to our health. In my opinion, we must prioritize "knowing thyself," which is written above many structures in ancient Kemet, and why not embrace our ancestors’ wisdom so that we might save ourselves from our current identity crisis of "whiteness."
