ASCENDtials offers several membership pathways designed to support cultural learning, youth leadership, community wellness, and restorative service. Each membership includes a one‑time membership donation, which helps sustain the programs you participate in and keeps our offerings accessible to the community.
Each membership type supports a different way of engaging with ASCENDtials—whether you’re joining as a volunteer, participating in workshops, completing service hours, or bringing your family, group, or company into cultural learning experiences.
Membership Options
Remote Teammate (One-Time Membership Donation)
For individuals supporting ASCENDtials behind the scenes through remote volunteer work.
Includes:
- Dashboard account activation
- Hour tracking
- Training and onboarding tools
- Program calendar
- Remote operations access
- Communication channels
- Access to ASCENDtials teams and Asana spaces (as assigned)
Single Membership (One-Time Membership Donation)
For individuals supporting ASCENDtials behind the scenes through cultural activities.
Includes:
- Eligibility to register for garden, cooking, drumming, and cultural workshops
- Access to night sky star parties and select community events
- Participation in volunteer opportunities at markets and activations
- Member-only email updates on upcoming programs and opportunities
Family Membership (One-Time Membership Donation)
For families participating in youth and cultural programs.
Includes:
- Eligibility for family registration in garden, cooking, and drumming sessions
- Access to youth-focused programs (Mini Earthkeepers, youth vendors, camps)
- Discounts or priority access for family-oriented events and seasonal programs
- Family-focused email updates and program invitations
Court-Ordered Membership (One-Time Membership Donation)
For individuals completing court-ordered service or program hours in a restorative, culturally grounded setting.
Includes:
- Access to approved service activities (garden sessions, market support, community events)
- Participation in restorative cultural workshops (drumming, wellness, night sky sessions)
- Verified hour completion logs and end-of-program confirmation
- Program calendar and scheduling support for required sessions
Group Membership (One-Time Membership Donation)
For youth groups, after-school programs, and community organizations.
Includes:
- Group access to scheduled workshops (garden, cooking, sky, drumming)
- Ability to book group volunteer/service days at market or activations
- Basic facilitator information for preparing participants
- Group-focused communication about upcoming opportunities
Company Membership (One-Time Membership Donation)

Includes:
- Access for employee groups to volunteer/service opportunities at events and markets

ASCENDtials uses a one-time membership donation model to keep our programs accessible while sustaining the cultural, educational, and community-centered work we offer throughout the year. This model allows individuals, families, groups, and companies to participate in our program at a level that fits their needs, while helping us cover the real costs of running workshops, youth programs, volunteer opportunities, and community events.
Membership donations support:
- Cultural education workshops in the garden, kitchen, and drum circle
- Youth leadership pathways like Mini Earthkeepers and youth vendors
- Night sky star parties, seasonal caps, and family learning experiences
- Restorative service opportunities for court-ordered particpants

Accessibility & Donation Refund Policy
We believe that community service should remain accessible to everyone.
If you experience financial hardship or have personal circumstances that make the membership donation difficult, you may request a donation waiver after onboarding.
Refunds are processed within 10 business days.
No explanation is required — your dignity and access come first.
This ensures that no one is turned away from serving their community.
